Wolverine In-ear

Wolverine EA refers to an innovative electroacoustic platform for in-ear devices developed to provide a comfortable, noise-free wearable sound experience without suffering the effects of occlusion.

Wearers of earphones designed to be fully inserted into the ear canal have traditionally had to contend with the discomfort caused by sealing the ear. In doing so, a wearer’s natural bone-conducted vibrations are amplified, producing the same effect that is experienced when closing the ear with your fingers and speaking. Wolverine is designed to make use of feedback noise cancelling to negate the impact of occlusion, managing the effect with little impact on audio quality and overall product form factor.

By combining Soundstrate technology, hybrid noise cancelling and advanced electroacoustic components, Wolverine delivers state of the art audio features and performance within a compact modular format.  This combination of technologies provide the earphone operator with the choice of suppressing undesirable noise, thanks to its high performance noise cancellation, or electronically opening the ear to the ambient sound conditions, with the option of switching between either state at any time.
